Have A Show of Good Sportsmanship Republicans!

So ~ now that the pissing contest is over and the territory has been claimed and marked by Obama ~ it is time for the Republicans to stop the whining and the tantrumming and get in the game!

No ~ you did not make Quarterback, but you are on the team
and you need to start playing to win!
No more of this poor sportsmanship.
None of this half assed, blame game, BS ~
Get behind your captain and play the freakin game like you mean it!

If you guys got behind the President and actually applied the tactics and they didn't work ~ then we can review the playbook.
 But until then ~
we don't know if it will work until you play the position correctly.

We are a nation of many. Stop using the word 'Liberal' as if it meant 'pion'.
Liberal means that my eyes are open to what exists in front of me. It means that I think things over even if i think I already know the answers. Because I know the answers change.
And if you want to remain blinded in your own opaque bubble,
 that is your problem.
The world is spinning and changing and their are many facets to being human.

If you would try to understand the differences instead of fearing and judging, you might even learn something. Something that you like!

Liberal means I care about not only myself, not only my environment,
but it means I care about you too!
I care about us as a whole, as a team. Us as a human race, us as a species amongst the kingdom of life ~
The Superbowl of planet Earth.

The game rules needed adjusting and they will again.
But until you start to cooperate as a team, we will remain stagnant.
So I beseech thee Republicans ~
pick up your chins, hold your heads proud from a great battle,
and get your heads together.
Regroup, save face, and start acting like an adult on our countries team!
It is time to have good Play nice with the other kids!
Have A Show of Good Sportsmanship Republicans!

benefit of the doubt

My thoughts on Mitt Romney are as such...
he reminds me  of the frat guy that tells you everything you want to hear
and then acts completely the opposite after coitus ~

I have allowed myself to be tricked into sleeping with dozens of these types of guys ~
its fun for a minute but they check out mentally and leave you feeling unsatisfied. Even when they are genuine, they fear and flee emotionally like a rabbit to the briar patch.

Its really obvious how it will go,
but its fun to suspend disbelief for a while ~
give it the unrealistic benefit of the doubt for pleasures sake ~

because, after all ~ I do know within 5 minutes that he aint 'it',but why not experience him and what his journey is all about ~
but then ~ it's time to go with new knowledge, experience and essence in hand ~~~

The Sculptress

I have the presence of mind to know, that in my efforts to grow and evolve as a woman in our society, i will be carving myself into a new, unheard of mold.
I knew my path was untried and not always so true.
I knew I would face opposition.
I knew I would have to work stronger in my due diligence,
but once you know something it's hard to unknow it, so there is really no turning back now that the apple has not only been bitten, but has spread to  an orchard in my backyard.

I had not realized that there was such divisiveness in our leaders.

I was raised on Republicans that talked of honor and a man's word as gold, and the importance of sustaining a happy family.

Now the treasury is gone with slight of hand by a batch of men of advantage who cannot even fathom the ramifications of their behavior.

So when the voice in my head asks again  why I have failed to accomplish my endeavors I persuade it with the bits Ive managed to extricate from thin air and vision  despite the environment i stumbled into.

I have the presence of mind to understand that my mind is a present, most healthy, when the thoughts are driven to be in the present, oddly enough.

So i become the sculptress of  my reactions.
I know that I am true
and when allowed, my path reveals itself to me.

Clinton for King!

I was so reluctant to watch, yet another assembly of politicians blab blab blabbing along....

But to my surprise I heard the genuine tone of President Clinton
and my ears heard harmonies and symphonies and soul.
Authentic intentions and revealing integrities that defy blow jobs!

We could all here it in Bill's voice when he lied back then ~
but kitty stuck in corner will hiss.. a situational lie that really only hurt him and his family... no one else.
so the strength and smarts in his demeanor tonight
were like a beacon of truth parting the clouds whilst the angels sang!
~ Don't stop thinkin' about tomorrow ~~~~

Our Country, fie, our World, needs a man who has clarity enough to stand up like Indiana Jones as the Professor, taking us point by point through the history of the last several years and to demonstrate the real facts from experts in their field. The best minds that humanity has to offer, are gathered to discuss the Issues, the Solutions and the Math.
And here is Bill Clinton teaching us the truth from the inner circle.

'Arithmatic' was his secret weapon to giving our budget a surplus 4 years in a row. I just loved his candor and relaxed humor.
I found myself transfixed on every detail of his lecture.
Could it be as simple as he says?
Well it certainly is not as complex as the Tea Party would have us believe.

Had the Tea Party and Republican Party actually gotten behind Obama ~ supported his Job Bill and that really did show failure,
I'd  be happy to say, "Hey we gave it a try let's give it back to the experts"
But unfortunately, that is not the case.

They vowed from day 1 to block Obama and block Obama they did.
It was such a display of poor sportsmanship that they belong on the bench.
They crossed their arms and huffed their breathes and put on a scowl like a spoiled child fighting over candy while the house was burning down.
Then denial instead of accountability came next.

I find myself feeling sorry for my father's party, the party that believed in honor to preserve freedom. It seems that they have been highjacked by pirates
My WW2 friends that pride themselves on honesty feel this generation to be filled with narcissism and a lack of pride.  And my young, freshly graduated friend has to watch Romney and Ryan try to roll women's progress back to 1952.
The disrespect for women dates back to the stone age... "to the moon, alice!"

I am by definition an Independent. I go by the man not the party.
I vote according to the facts I have myself witnessed.
So in my attempt to stay bipartisan and watch these conventions with open mind and rational head ....  it is a clear choice.
Its all in the numbers. The math. period. And Obama is adding up to 100%.

If my family has to pay a few percentage points more in taxes
so that we can end poverty and strife....  fuckin' count me in!

I am thankful that there is a man in charge that cares about values enough to hold himself accountable to them.
The standard to which we hold our society needs to be uplifted, and the place to start has revealed itself clearly.

I love Obama as President and I will give him his shot at 4 more years to really give him his shot at getting things done,
but after listening to the conviction in Clintons address....

If I could, I would, absolutely, vote  Bill Clinton for King!

political conventions

As i try to watch these political conventions without submitting to the anxiety, they just remind me of propaganda from the past.
As they bash the opponent it looks like barbarians and lions to me.

Its the hostility that bothers me the most ~
the need to assign blame to someone for the problems of our people
instead of realizing we need to chill the egos
and get to Solving the problems ~
it's infuriating to see these grown adults ~ some grampa age ~
spewing their rhetoric as if its gosspil ~
when my eyes watched clearly, in my horror,  the absolute opposite happen.
The Men thought it ok when deregulated, to lie, cheat and steal.
They lowered the standard to disgracefulness
from that great WW2 generation that demonstrated
Honor, Integrity, Business Ethics, and Good Sportsmanship

Tell me you want to do!  NOT what you think is wrong with the other guy!
Obama, Romney, Bush,Wall Street, Banks, Government, War, Democrat, Republican, Species, Breeds, Cultures, Castes, Thieves,~~

The money left, when the men lost their balls.
And then their minds.
They reacted in absolute fear after 911
and scrambled in survival mode ~
ruthlessly pillaging their own neighborhood
and robbing their own grandmas.

Modern psychology and basic common sense maturity tells us ~
that if people are ready to kill themselves to make a point
Perhaps they may need a little help.
Instead of bombing them , introduce plumbing.
A shower, a meal and a lay
and they will no longer desire suicide.
You know language, now use it ~
When you are distressed you go to a shrink and he listens and you figure things out ~
well apply that knowledge to countries and peoples in bad situations.
Help them work through the problems instead of showing them your anger.

But the arrogance of our country these days is pathetic ~
Where is the compassion and human empathy?
How are you forgetting the fact that we share an entire planet
with other creatures!
Talk about entitlement!
You are not above me
you are not below me
you exist in the same era as I

and your irrational verbiage is hurtful and useless
grow up everyone ~ roll up your sleeves, get the coffee on
and let's figure out a system that actually makes sense for everyone!
I'm not saying it's easy ~ I'm telling you it's inevitable to do so or die ~
The dirt will be here with its radiation and all long after humanity ~

why do we need government and social programs ?

They want to make deep cuts and they ask,
'Why do we need government and social programs ?'

To ask this is legitimate when you are told of fraud and corruption, but to eliminate these programs for the unfortunate is to loosen sight of humanity.

Alicia turned 70 years old this year. She was a neighbor upstairs.
She had no family so i used to have tea with her and chat.
She showed me old sepia tone photos of her as young ballet dancer with the symphony. She was beautiful... once.

One day while working in a corporate environment, she was injured. She lost her teeth, broke her wrists and has been living alone on social security and she struggles to make ends meet.  She has spent the past 5 years  trying to claim disability through the courts, so that she can go fix her missing teeth and treat the fibromyalgia that developed from lack of physical therapy funds.

Over time, she became a horder. She could not move around easily and things started to add up and stack up along the walls.
She started having trouble keeping up with her beloved dog and the place kept getting dirtier and harder to keep up.

It got to the point where despite the on-time rent payments, the city was called by the landlord due to suspicious smells coming from the apartment.
Inspectors could not get her to pass up to code and she was given a date to be locked out. She was forced to leave which was going to make her homeless.
She wept to me in her hopelessness.

I called a Social Worker from an Aged Adult Social Program.
He came right away, checked on her nutritional needs and gave her information about shelters and living options. She was scared and hopeless, but we went over the information from the program and that lead to her finding a safe place to call home with a woman she related to right away.
Alicia's room now, is right off of a garden and she doesn't have to go it alone anymore.

The world is not a level playing field
and there are basic human needs that hold a moral priority to corporate machinery.
Angry men of wealth, who live off of the worlds resourses as their own,
and profit without caring about other people, seem to feel like they are entitled to it and fail to recognize all of the contributors to their success.
The roads they drove to their offices on, the people that cook their food in the restaurant, the maids that clean their homes and teach their children. It does take a village and they seem to think they did it alone.

When in fact, they as leaders should feel honored and grateful to be in the position to tend to the needs of those without any privilege.

Because corporations choose greed over gratitude, government is there to make sure the society is humanistic and in some sort of order.
The ones who don't care, distract us with penis photos of congressmen while they steal our last dollar with a snicker.
The selfish children need to have some boundaries set.

That is why we need government and social programs!

on Whitney Huston's death...

One of our most celebrated, beautiful woman in the world, was so in need of escape from the pressure, that she lost sight of her own body, and consumed so many drugs that she accidentally killed herself.

What a testament to how women are viewed and treated in our society today.
The build them up to knock them down mentality....  instead of appreciating their gifts and learning from them!
The, ' woman are worth less after a man is done wanting to fuck them' attitude...
instead of appreciating the love shared and honoring it with respect,
 upon exit.
The cut throat competitiveness of society.... that has taken over team play, sportsmanship and empathy has got to be kept in check!

I DO believe the children are our future....
Teach them WELL and Let them lead the way...
Beauty is inside, pride trumps envy, and
making it easier, IS the right thing to do,
 for everyone...

Whitney's death should be a wake up call
to all of those asleep
society is out of balance and needs to become kinder, more loving, and helpful to those in pain ~

Produce music and shows and movies that do not promote meanness towards one another as 'cool' ~  it's not.
Being 'Real' can be expressed with thoughtfully chosen words,
tact and class.
Remove your eye masks and see the sunshine at last...
see beneath the surface of your own skin and into the souls of others.
get out from in front of the mirror and start seeing the horizon lines
accept yourself and accept each other
celebrate our differences instead of trying to shove into a box of a varied shape.

We are all on a beautiful blue rock, rotating in space, for a mere 100 years,
let us teach those children well and create a much better future.
